LINENS: We will need to provide all our own bedding: Sheets, blankets, pillows, pillowcases, towels. For those who are driving, please plan on bringing as much of this as you can. If you do not have room, please let us know. We should have extra towels, blankets, and sheets, as well as lots of pillow cases, but we do NOT have enough pillows for everyone, so be sure to at least bring your own pillows. If you are flying, we will provide all your bedding for you. Please let us know if you need supplies. We will be sure to pack them for you.
GAMES: We plan on having plenty of time to play games, so bring along your family favorites to share during down time or Game Night!
SNACKS: We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Lunches will be sandwiches or leftovers from previous nights/mornings. We will not have snack foods (though we will have PB&J always available as well as some whole fruits until they are gone). Please bring snacks for your family and/or to share. If you leave it in the kitchen, it is communal, so if its just for your family, keep it in your room! In the past, we've found many munchers in the kitchen between meals eating food intended for future meals. We won't have the luxury of being able to run to a store to replace what has been eaten, so please provide adequately for what you know your kids will need!
BUG SPRAY & SUNSCREEN: It is July in MN. That means mosquitoes are in full force. Bring whatever you need to combat that issue, as well as after-bite creams if desired. We'll also be spending time on the water and in the field, so be prepared with sunscreen.
LIFE JACKETS: I will look more into this, but I believe there is a limited supply of life jackets available at the camp. If they have them, they will be for older youth. We have a very small supply of life jackets for smaller kids that we can contribute, but otherwise, please bring what your family will need.
WATER TOYS: We talked months ago about each family bringing some water toys that you volunteered: CO Hickens an inflatable raft, Fredericks also an inflatable boat, MN Hickens 2 kayaks and a canoe.
SCRIPTURES: We will be having scripture study every morning again, so please bring a Book of Mormon for each of your family members.
OTHER INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Dad: Air Compressor, Airplanes, PVC Pipes
Janae: Projector, Night Games Supplies, Volleyball?
Brent: Scripture Study supplies
What types of beds are there so we know what size sheets to bring? Do we need to bring twin, queen, full, king?
